Danny Blackwell is a British-born haiku poet, who has lived in Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Mexico, and Japan.
He has had his work published in the leading journals, such as Frogpond, Modern Haiku, and many more, and his poems have been featured in various anthologies, including:
the arithmetic of sparrows: Best of Paper Lanterns vol. I
old song: The Red Moon Anthology of English-Language Haiku 2017.
And his name features in the list of The European Top 100 haiku authors in 2017.
He was recently awarded the much-coveted 'Cultura Resident' scholarship by the Valencian Museum Consortium for his investigation project on haiku poetry written in the languages of the Iberian Peninsula.
